Mathew on huippufirman leivissä ja aikoo pian kosia ihastuttavaa tyttöystäväänsä. Matthewn on kuitenkin vaikea päästää irti menneisyydestä kun näkee kahvilassa kadoneen rakastettunsa, Lisan. Matthewlla on edessä työmatka Kiinaan, mutta hän jääkin talviseen Chicagoon ottamaan selvää Lisan olemassaolosta. Matkalla kohti totuutta Matthew törmää toiseen Lisaa, jolla onkin enemmän tekemistä oikean Lisan kanssa kuin Matt haluaisi uskoakaan...
